Connect your Canva account to Gemini
Connect your Canva account to Gemini to access supported Canva capabilities from Gemini. The connection uses Canva’s AI Connector.
Before you start
- Make sure you’re signed in to the correct Canva account.
- You may need to use a personal Google account experience (depending on your Gemini setup).
- You may be asked to sign in and authorize Canva during setup.
Connect your Canva account to Gemini
- From your personal Google account, go to Gemini and select Settings.
- Go to Personal Intelligence.
- Select Connected Apps.
- Go to Other, then find Canva.
- Turn on the toggle for Canva.
- When prompted, link your Google and Canva accounts. Sign in to your existing Canva account or create a new one.
Confirm Canva is connected
To check that Canva is connected, go to Gemini → Settings → Personal Intelligence → Connected Apps and confirm Canva is turned on/connected.
Disconnect your Canva account from Gemini
- In Gemini, go to Settings.
- Go to Personal Intelligence.
- Go to Connected Apps.
- Scroll down to Other and find Canva.
- Choose what you want to do:
- To temporarily disable Canva, turn off the Canva connection.
- To disconnect your Canva account, select Learn more, then select Unlink.
Troubleshoot connecting Canva to Gemini
Canva isn’t listed under Connected Apps
- Make sure you’re signed into the correct Google account.
- Check that connected apps are available for your Gemini experience (some accounts/orgs may restrict this).
Connected, but Canva isn’t working
- Turn Canva off, then back on in Connected Apps.
- Try unlinking and linking again.
